Amy Lou Adams is the full name for Amy Lou Adams. Amy Lou Adams was born in Aviano Italy on the 20th of August 1974. Amy Lou Adams is an American actress whom has received praise for her portrayal of charming and innocent characters. Adams was the youngest of seven children who lived when she was a kid in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father was employed by the U.S. Military in Italy. In the mid-1990s, she began dancing and performing professionally at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. When she moved to Minnesota, she starred in a mock-documentary film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) about beauty pageants. After making her screen debut as a cute but serious contestant, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. From June 1951 until September 22, 1962 she was wed with actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Her film career started in mid- 1940s, after she was signed by MGM. Her name was found by Norma Shearer. Leigh appeared in a variety of popular movies in the subsequent decade such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis film from 1954).
