Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four children, was born on 8 August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. Her parents were dentists and a teacher recognised and encouraged her passion for theatre and drama as early as she was a child. This was more important than a desire to become a primatologist thanks to her fascination with monkeys. Her rise to fame as a young actress was rapid and accompanied by her early successes.
