Felicity is a British actress known for her performance as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones is acting since when she was 12 years old and has been in many productions and TV shows. Her career began with The television production The Treasure Seekers. Following that, she appeared on The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow as well as Weirdsisters college. The first movie she appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool was a film that featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many movies. She gained popularity for her acting in movies including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was however her character on The Theory of Everything' that won her the Oscar nomination the very first time. The biopic was based on the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones received a lot of praise from the public and reviewers for her flawless portrayal of Hawking's former wife. Jones was later seen in Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. In 2016 The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Jones to be the British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to the cinema.
